Little Light Designs was created by me, Kate Thomas. Through hours of creating, drawing and imagining I decided the artworks trapped within my iPad needed a place to be shared with the world.

The idea behind Little Light Designs came through the creation of playful drawings that were designed to spread light and happiness into the world. Simple images that bring joy to a space and create curiosity amongst audiences.

My background has always been entangled with The Arts. I spent years of my life studying the arts at school and at university, as well as always making some kind of arty crafty at home or out and about. I graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and later from Griffith University with a Masters of Teaching.

Today I enjoy teaching primary school students with as much creativity as I can weave into each day, as well as creating these little pieces of light on the side along the way.
